Can I use a different credit card to make additional payments?
Yes. Please use the invoice provided in your booking confirmation email to update and send a payment. As soon as I receive the information, then I will make the payment and email you the receipt. You can also make payments through the Classic Vacations portal at anytime.
Can I make additional payments before the final payment date?
Yes. You can make payments through the invoice that I send to you after booking is confirmed. Once I receive a notice of payment from you, I will make the payment and email you the receipt. You can also make payments through the Classic Vacations portal at anytime.
I filled out the reservation form, but I didn’t get an immediate confirmation.
When you fill out the reservation form, it does not automatically make your reservation or charge your credit card. The information is sent to me so I can review it first. If I have any questions, then I will reach out to you for verification. If everything looks good, then I will make the reservation, email you a receipt showing the payment, and another email with information about your reservation. FYI, If you fill out the form after business hours (5:00 pm CST) or over the weekend, it may be the next day before you receive a confirmation.
Can I add someone else to my room after I’ve made my reservation?
Yes, you can always add a person to your room after your reservation has been made as long as it doesn’t go above the room occupancy limit. If you’re waiting to make a reservation because you’re not sure if someone will be with you in the room, then I suggest you go ahead and secure your reservation now and then add them later. Final changes due 30 days before travel.
The other person in my room can’t make it. Can I switch them with someone else?
Yes. Just send me an email with the name of the guest to be removed along with the name (as it appears on their passport) of the new guest, their birthday, and email address. Once I have this information, then I will make the adjustment. Final changes due 30 days before travel.
I can’t make it to the wedding and need to cancel my reservation. What do I do now?
Send me an email (I have to have it in writing) letting me know you need to cancel your reservation.
How do I get from the airport to the resort and back?
Transfers are provided with your room booking through Mayaland. You will be able to see this information on your travel documents.
I don’t see a way to RSVP on the website. How can I do this?
There is no official way of doing this through our website. Most people contact the wedding couple directly and let them know. However, I do keep a list of people who have already made a room reservation and those who have emailed letting me know they will not be attending the wedding so I can send an update to the wedding couple.
Will everyone in our group have rooms next to each other?
No, not necessarily. This will depend on a few factors like the type of room category each person books and how full the resort is at the time of the event.
Can I request a room next to someone else?
When you make your reservation, you can send the request to me in the “Additional Information” section at the bottom of the reservation form and I will pass it along to the resort. They will do whatever they can to honor your request, but it is not guaranteed.
Do I need to take electrical converters to plugin?
No. Mexico has the same electrical outlets as we do in the US.
